1982! A nice and chubby "Risto-Kalle!"
This "clip" is from my last evening of more than 20 concerts in two weeks; lectures and speaking engagements at schools and Bible Institutes in the Helsinki area. This is a home video, taken by someone at the famous Kulttuuritalo (The Cultural House), in Helsinki.
The event was organised by my old friend Tapani Suonto (PerjantaiKristukselle) OneWay Mission; Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
Here in this scene I am inviting a young sister, that I did not know, that I noticed in the audience, to be bold enough to come on stage and sing with me. And like the dynamite women of God we have in Finland, she did not even hesitate! She jumped up and came to the stage.
It was such a blessed evening. Hundreds came to the Foot of the Cross. The street team, various church groups, evangelistic outreaches in the city and surrounding areas and I had the privilege to pray for them, to receive Jesus Christ as personal Saviour.
We also showed the film: The Hiding Place about Corrie Ten Boom. Always awesome to see to this very day.
The quality of this video is not good of course..long before digital. But the feeling is there!
I wanted you to see what God has been doing at Angel House International Missions Ministries Association in Finland over all these decades.
