Sylwia and dad Ryszard WODOWSKI August 2002 - They have been my host family for two years now during the Annual International Polish Gospel Festival in their town of Osiek (about 2 hours from Gdansk). Sylwia is working in Warsaw now, and her financé, Artur continues his univerisity studies there also. They will be married next year and I am invited! Yum! Because I love wedding cakes in particular!
Her dad, Ryszard, owns a mineral water factory in a nearby city and here we are visiting him at work and drinking lots of fresh water, direct from the ground on which we are standing. They have been such a blessing to me over the years, and I always look foward to returning to their home and Ryszard is an excellent cook! (Thanks Artur for the fine barbeque this time!)
